HGV Driver – Hevey Sudbury
We are currently recruiting an HGV Driver to join us at our branch in Sudbury. You will be an integral part of a thriving, busy team, delivering building materials to our customers, loading and unloading safely and maintaining a high level of customer care and service.
Applicants should possess a current Class 1 or Class 2 (Cat C & E) licence. Ideally you will also hold a valid HIAB Crane Licence.
The daily duties of the job will be delivering building materials around the Sudbury area.
Hours: 7.30am-5pm Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm alternate Saturdays

Requirements
- Valid HGV licence and clean driving record
- HIAB licence
- Experience of working in a Builder’s Merchant
- A good understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends
- Positive, can do attitude
- Eligible to work in the UK
